Gwyn has matured into a magnificent stallion with the "Coed Coch" stamp.  He has awesome floating movement with powerful extension, which he passes on to his offspring.  He is the sire of Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion ponies Alvesta Caris and Alvesta Bliss, and Grand Champions such as Alvesta Gwyndaf and Coyote Run Eamon.  Feature photo taken in 2009 after winning double Supreme Champion at Parkland show.

While still in Wales, Gwyn placed 2nd in his Yearling Colt class at the Royal Welsh Show out of over 50 shown.  Although here in Canada he has had very limited showing, in his three show seasons Gwyn has become a multi Supreme Champion, much to our pride.  Not only is he successful in the breeding classes, but he has been consistently winning in the very competitive Sport Pony classes as well.  For his full show results, please visit our Champions page.  His high point awards are listed below:

Pirate’s fluid, reaching movement and all-around charisma and beauty are the reason people say “magnificent” when they see him.  At home, the reasons we value him beyond measure are his kind, gentle demeanor and charming personality, along with his beautiful Welsh type, and of course the lovely foals he sires.

Pirate has excelled in the showring from his early successes in the foal classes in Wales, to the present as a mature stallion.  He's been awarded multiple Supreme and Reserve Supreme Championships, and additionally, his offspring are winning in-hand, under saddle, in harness, and in Get of Sire classes.  Pirate has taken advantage of his limited time in the showring;  he dominates not only the Welsh breeding classes, but also the very competitive Sport Pony category – achieving the highest recognition available: Grand Champion Sport Pony.  We are very excited about his get and grandget's accomplishments in the showring, proving him to be an outstanding sire of both Welsh and partbreds.  Standing at 13.1hh. 

2008 Show News: Again in 2008 Pirate came home with Supremes, and earned high point awards in Provincial, Western Regional, and National Champion Section B 3 & Over Stallion!  Also, Pirate was on the 2008 WPCSC Section B Sire of the Year Ratings! 

2009 Show News: With all his wonderful offspring to show, we are forfeiting his space in the trailer for them.  They did him proud, their points making him 2009 WPCSC 2nd Section B Sire of the Year!

2010 Show News: Pirate did not go to the shows, but his offspring did very well for us and their new owners making Pirate 2010 WPCSC Section B Sire of the Year!

Cwrtycadno Cymro x Polaris Dorcas by Paddock Mystral

Tarquin is a very exciting addition to our herd.  We have long admired Cwrtycadno Cymro and his offspring from afar, so we are extremely pleased to have had the opportunity to bring over such a promising colt by him and out of the lovely, and exceptionally well-bred mare Polaris Dorcas (considered one of the top two Section B mares of the Countess of Dysart's famous Polaris Stud).  Sadly, Tarquin is Dorcas's last foal as she passed away the winter after weaning him.  Tarquin is unshown to date.  Photo at 3 years.

Tarquin sired his first foal: Alvesta Naiya is a beautiful, very friendly filly.  We are very happy with Naiya, and we look forward to continuing to breed to this lovely young stallion.

Although we do not usually retain homebred colts, Helios has the attributes we wish to perpetuate in our ponies, so we've made an exception for him.  We look forward to his future as a stallion and in the showring.
